App for Flowscape Bird’s Eye customers. Birds Eye can only be used by users authorized by Flowscape.

Birds Eye comes alive thanks to our advanced indoor positioning technology. It supports our customers by minimizing the time and effort that comes with trying to find colleagues, equipment, available meeting rooms or free desks and it enhances collaboration.

SYSTEM KEY FEATURES:

- Space Finder - Find and book workspace or conference room that suits your current mood and needs
- Colleague Finder - Find and contact fellow co-workers and simultaneously experience the pulse of the company
- Equipment Finder - Locate vital office equipment such as printers, coffee machines or office supplies

SYSTEM SPECIFICATION:

The app uses Background Location updates to get locations of employees in the building where they work.
The employees share their locations through the Birds Eye server to quicker find each other at the workplace.
The app does not track the users position outside the workplace.
No historical positioning data of individuals is stored.

Our app uses positioning based on fingerprinting. iBeacons are used to wake the app and also for the bluetooth fingerprinting positioning calculations.


Please note, this version uses location updates in background:
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
